CONTEXT & ART DIRECTION
RIZZI B launches limited edition capsule collection with artist Rikki Kasso
Tokyo-based fashion imprint RIZZI B teamed up with renowned NYC artist Rikki Kasso to create a one-off, limited edition capsule collection based on his iconic sumi ink on wood piece, ‘THIS IS AMAZING’. The collection was comprised of crewneck sweaters, t-shirts, and tote bags. To launch and promote the initiative, I was tasked with creating the visual material along with the shop’s retail experience design. We wanted to convey a sense of raw, underground exclusivity to the collection, so we rounded up around 20 Tokyoites to shoot with the theme of ‘Anti-Paparazzi’. These images were used for press material as well as an art collage installation on the wall of the shop for the duration of the collection’s availability.
EVENT
A one day only reception launch party showcasing the collection with DJ and photo booth
We invited some of Tokyo’s finest tastemakers for an evening of fashion, music, cocktails, and vegan cuisine. Along with the collections on display and for sale, we set up a photo booth so that guests could take photos with the original Rikki Kasso piece that inspired the collection.
